Who do I contact if I have a question regarding GK IS Direct™?
Our Customer Service team is available Monday through Friday from 8:00AM EST - 8:00PM EST at 1-877-352-8181 or by email at shopnow@gkservices.com. They can assist you with any questions you may have about your order or GK IS Direct™. You can also direct questions to your local G&K Representative.
Why should I create an account?
There are several benefits to creating an account with GK IS Direct™:
- View your Logo Library that includes unique logos
- Use your business credit for easy payment at checkout
- Maintain an address book for frequently used shipping addresses
- Store wearer names for Pack by Employee
- View your order history for convenient reordering
- Faster order checkout using your securely stored information
- Receive special email promotions with exclusive account-holder offers
How do I create an account?
Go to the Create Account link at the top right corner of the website.
Enter your first and last name, and create a login using your email address. Next, choose a password (must be at least 8 characters and it is case sensitive). The email address and password will be your login every time you log-in to your account to purchase on the site.
If you would like to link to your existing G&K account and access your business credit and/or custom logo designs, you will need either your G&K Statement that includes your Account Number or your G&K Invoice that includes your Customer Number. There are examples on the Create Account page to help you locate these numbers. Once you have entered either your Account Number or Customer Number, click "Validate Account". Enter your Delivery Zip Code (this should match the zip code on your invoice) and then check that you have read the Terms & Conditions after you have read them. Once all steps are complete, click Submit.
If you do not want to link to an existing G&K account, simply check that you have read the Terms & Conditions once you have read them and click "Skip".

Unlinking an account: If you would like to unlink your account, you can do so in the My Account Section by clicking on the "UNLINK FROM THIS ACCOUNT" button.
Do I have to create an account to shop on GK IS Direct™?
No. You have the option of checking out as a guest of GK IS Direct™, and we will not store any of your information. Simply use your credit card for payment. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards. However, please see Why should I create an account? for multiple benefits to creating an account.
Can I change my profile information?
Yes. Simply log into your account and click “My Account”. Click “Change Password” to update your password. Or, click “Edit Profile Details” to change your first name, last name, email address, or phone number. Click “Update” to save your changes. Please call us at 1-877-352-8181 for assistance with changing other details.
Unlinking an account: If you would like to unlink your account, you can do so in the My Account Section by clicking on the "UNLINK FROM THIS ACCOUNT" button.
What do I do if I forget my password?
Click “Forgot Password”, enter your email address, and click “Submit”. Your password will be emailed to you shortly.
Why can't I create an account?
You may already have an account and just need to login to access it. Otherwise, you may be entering information in a format that does not work for our system. Our Customer Service team is happy to help you set-up an account or answer any questions you may have. Please call Customer Service at 1-877-352-8181 for assistance.
How do I search for an item?
Enter a product name, keyword, or item number in the Search field at the top right side of the screen. Click the “Go” button to search the site.
How do I order a large quantity of the same item?
Simply go to the desired product page and click “Bulk Order”. Choose your color choice and enter quantities in the selected size fields. Click “Add to Shopping Cart” when complete.
What does it mean to “Pack by Employee”?
This is a value added service that G&K will provide at no additional cost. If you require product to be individually grouped and packaged by the wearer, select “Pack by Employee”. Then indicate the employee name for each product you order. G&K will group and package items by employee, listing the name on each package, for easy distribution when you receive your order. You can maintain an employee list under the “My Account” link or you may add employees as you shop.
Does GK IS Direct™ offer Screen Printing Services?
Yes. GK IS Direct™ offers bundled screen printing pricing for t-shirts as well as the ability to screen print a number of other products featured online or in the catalog. A screen printed program is a great way to put your employees in branded apparel at an affordable price. Call our Customer Service team at 1-877-352-8181 for more information.
What is a logo?
G&K Services offers various logo options to help advertise your company or brand, identify your employees, and enhance your image in your workplace - and with your customer. We offer the following options:
Custom Embroidery
G&K Services can produce a unique embroidered logo from the artwork you provide using a digitization process. Your design file is then used to create your unique embroidered logo on the garments you select. If you do not have a logo set-up with G&K, follow the five easy steps below in What is the Custom Logo Process? to get started.
Standard (Text) Embroidery
If you don‘t have artwork or a unique custom logo, you can use our standard embroidery capabilities. We will embroider your company name, an employee name, or any other text in one thread color on the garments you choose. We offer three lettering selections: Block all upper case, block upper and lower case or script.
Screen Printing
This popular decoration technique uses ink rather than thread. Screen printing allows you to create high-end, multi-colored designs with shading gradients very affordably. Select from our bundled screen print t-shirt program or apply screen print to a number of products throughout our catalog. Screen printed items can not be ordered online and require a 36 piece minimum order. Call our Customer Service team at 1-877-352-8181 for more information on this exciting program from GK IS Direct™.
Emblems/Nametags
Adding an emblem or nametag to garments is yet another option to add customization or personalization. In this option, your logo or message is embroidered or printed onto a patch, which is then attached to a shirt or jacket. Many customers use emblems to brand their apparel or add names for their team members. We offer two standard emblem sizes. Emblems can not be added to garments online at this time. What is the custom logo process?
At GK IS Direct™ we view the custom logo process as a team effort. We will work with you to create a logo that meets or exceeds your expectations and can be easily added to virtually any item in our collection. To make this easy, we have created a simple four-step process.

Due to color and detail distortion, we can not accept faxed logos.
3. Within 24-48 hours of receiving your logo, we will send out an electronic simulation for you to review for color, size, and overall design. When all factors meet your satisfaction, please accept the terms stated in the email by typing “accept” in the provided space and “approve” in the provided space and then reply to (or forward) the email to shopnow@gkservices.com. Set-up fees will be charged to you once we have received your approval. If our electronic simulation of your logo does not meet your satisfaction, we ask that you either contact us at 1-877-352-8181 or email us at shopnow@gkservices.com. We will review the work with you and make the necessary changes or adaptations.
4. Once we receive your approval of the electronic simulation, our design team will create and send to you an embroidered sample of your logo for final approval. This will show you exactly what the logo will look like once applied to your purchased product(s). Once you have reviewed and approved the sample, we ask that you sign directly on the piece and return it to us at:

We also ask that you send an email with your approval to shopnow@gkservices.com to allow us to begin processing your order while the sample is in transit. Please forward the original email containing your electronic simulation and type “approve sample” in the body of the email. At this point no further changes can be made to the design.
5. Once we have your final approval, you may place your order. You will receive an email within 48 hours with the design number, stitch count (determines application cost) and verification that your logo is ready for use. It will remain in your logo library to use as many times as you would like, for as long as you want it to be available.
What is a logo library?
A logo library is where you can access the approved direct embroidery custom logos for your company while shopping online. Once you have created an account, all active custom logos that you have created with us will be shown in your logo library. When ordering items, all you have to do is choose a logo from your logo library to customize your products. We take care of the rest.
How do I know what size to order?
Size charts are included on each individual product page. Click the link, “Size Chart”, to see the specific item's sizing information. Follow these instructions to measure for the right fit:
Neck: Measure around the base of your neck (the lowest point of your neck). Take the measurement in inches. Or, take a shirt that fits you well and lay the collar flat. Measure collar from center of top collar button to far end of the opposite button hole.
Bust/Chest: With your arms relaxed at your side, measure the fullest part of your bust/chest under your arms and across your shoulder blades. Make sure to keep the tape parallel to the floor. Measure over clothing.
Sleeve: Put your hand on your hip with your arm bent 90 degrees. Measure from the center of your neck at the back of your collar over the shoulder and along the arm to your wrist bone. Measure over clothing.
Waist: Stand straight and relaxed with your heels together. For women, measure around the narrowest part of your waist. Keep the tape firm, but not too tight. Do not measure over clothing. For men, measure around your waist over a shirt at the area where you would normally wear your pants. Keep one finger between you and the tape measure. This is your waist size. Do not measure over heavy clothing or pants. Keep the tape firm, but not too tight.
Hip: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest/widest part of your hips. Make sure to keep the tape parallel to the floor. Measure over clothing.
Inseam: Take a pair of pants that fit you well. Lay them flat. Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the pants. The number of inches to the nearest inch is your inseam length.
Belts: Order 2” larger than your pants waist measurement. For men or women ordering a scratchless belt, follow these size recommendations: Small (Waist size 28-33); Medium (Waist size 34-39); Large (Waist size 40-45); and X-Large (Waist size 46-51).
Can I save on logo'd tees and caps?
Yes, at GK IS Direct™, we have bundled pricing for direct embroidery on a wide selection of caps and tee shirts. Embroidered caps are available as low as $4.49 and embroidered tees are available as low as $6.74. This bundling program is available through our Customer Service Team by calling 877-352-8181, option 3.
Bundled pricing is not available online at this time.
How do I qualify for a volume discount?
Volume discounts require that you meet a merchandise purchase total threshold, starting at $1,000. Meeting this purchase total minimum will qualify your purchase for a standard discount, as specified below. Volume discounts will be applied to the merchandise total per order and do not include embellishment, handling, shipping, tax logo set-up or any other value-added service charges. Volume discounts can not be combined with any other promotions or discounts.
Merchandise Only Total and Applicable Discounts:
$1,000 - $2,499 = 5%
$2,500+ = 7%
How long will the items in the SALE section be available?
Items in the SALE section are available only while supplies last. Once our current inventory of the sales items has been purchased, we can not re-order them.
How do I know if I can use business credit or need to enter a credit card number?
If you are an active G&K Services rental customer with established business credit, you may create an account on GK IS Direct™ and link to your business credit to make purchases online. See How do I create an account? above.
If you are not an active rental customer with established business credit, you will need to use a credit card to purchase on GK IS Direct™. Simply use your credit card at the time of check-out. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards. If you are not an active rental customer and would like to establish business credit with G&K, please call Customer Service at 1-877-352-8181.
How do I cancel or change an order?
Call Customer Service at 1-877-352-8181. Please have your sales order number ready.
Can I view my order history?
Yes. Once you have created an account on GK IS Direct™, you will be able to login and go to the My Orders section of your account information screens. All of your previous online orders will be available for you to review.
What are my shipping options?
We offer standard, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air A.M. as shipping options.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We will ship orders that do not include embroidery within one business day after receipt of a completed order. We will ship orders that include customer or standard embroidery within five business days after receipt of a completed order and upon final approval of your logo. Screen printed or non-standard items in stock with our vendors will ship in ten business days. You will receive your order confirmation within 48 hours via e-mail. Please reference your order number when inquiring about your order. You will also receive a shipping notice by e-mail when your package has shipped. What do I do if I want to return or exchange a product?
Simply Guaranteed.™
If for any reason you are not satisfied with the product you purchased from us, simply return the product, and we will exchange it or issue you a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping charges. If a return/exchange is required, please reference the return/exchange instructions in your shipment.
